Wallgard

Protecto-Wallgard can be applied in two ways : (a) As a coloured coating-by applying a mixture of Protecto-Wallgard 10 and Protecto-Wallgard 30 over the surface. These coatings have good ultraviolet resistance and are used for outdoor as well as indoor damproofing applications. (b) As a transparent coating-by applying only Protecto-Wallgard 10 over the surface. Transparent Protecto-Wallgard 10 coatings have excellent antifungal properties together with damproofing properties and are highly recommended for anti-fungal applications. They are, however, not recommended for applications requiring direct exposure to sunlight unless an additional coat to paint (either polyurethane or oil or cement based) is applied over them. In both cases the surface should be dry and all loose particles should be removed by wire brushing and sand papering. Any oil or grease on the surface should be removed by means of de-greasing solvents or emulsifiers. For plastered walls all cracks and joints should be filled up with Ezefil crack/joint filling compound. PROPERTIES
